The Reason Why Discovery Is The Foundation Of An Invention!

 

There’s this myth of inventions being novel! Inventions wouldn’t happen unless discovered first. Examples: All the medicines today were first discovered in the Plants, Tress, Roots, and then, their steroidal compounds were extracted in the Labs, synthesized, and marketed via innovations! There’s nothing in the World called a Novel Invention. That’s why more than decade back, I coined the definition of Invention as -> Discovery++, i.e., one step ahead of Discovery. So first something is discovered, and then, derived and invented!

One can’t produce or create a single invention without the help of any existing Resources. One needs the already present resources to invent something novel. Thus, discovering is essential for the novel inventions, as per my definition.

One can transform a thing to another, but, can’t create anything even out of thin air, forget about without thin air. It’s similar to conceiving a new trademark with the help of already existing letters, alphabets, and numerals that forms a word or a device mark.

Further, one can question about the consciousness itself, whether what we think or write or do is a by product of discovering something, or, inventing using the resources that our consciousness already gave to us via discovering. Means, there’s an age old dilemma that when we are thinking, then who within us is listening? Or are we amplifying what we’ve been told to think? In both the cases, we’re not inventing, but, discovering! So far! Or, is it the case that our segregated consciousness is like thread in the CPU defined to do a particular task only, but, unlike the CPU, the functions of it are linear & static?

You may furthermore call the violation of the Intergalactic Intellectual Property Rights vide discovering & later inventing (actually reverse engineering) of crashed UFOs or UAPs, which is again, could also be a great camouflage for doing certain prohibited acts behind the scenes, as public love Entertainment -> 24/7.

Yet, in the legal context, we’ve to differentiate between the Discovery and the Invention, as, the concept of invention would cease to exist alone. Similar to the case of Copyrights, wherein, what you write or recite or picturize or capture or build or shoot, been a by- product of already written numerals, letters, languages, scenes, surroundings.

Thus, why everything is invented till today ought to have been discovered first, and not the other way around. So, the equation could also be given as -> Discovery > Inventions (Discovery++) > Innovations! Just a personal dilemma!😊
